Learn to TEACH Do-Re-Mi

About the event

These workshops are designed to help teens wanting to share their love for music and develop skills to help young children and children with disabilities through following Sarah's new "Learn to Sing Do-Re-Mi" curriculum where all melodies are sung with Do-Re-Mi. We also use boomwhackers which are colored percussion tubes in a rainbow that goes up the musical scale Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Ti-Do. The colors will be used all throughout the fun lessons filled with movement and ASL. Verbal skills are greatly improved, attention span is lengthened, social emotional skills reinforced and other tips and helpful exercises can be introduced depending on the needs of the students. Become part of Sarah's "I Can Sing Do-Re-Mi Team" and bring music to more children!!
